The sunrise at Lacs de Chéserys was the most spectacular I have ever witnessed in my life… I let the picture speak for it!

It took me 1 hour until I decided to leave camp.

I then climbed up to Refuge Lac Blanc, where I had a good morning coffee and dried my tent.

I had a tough time keeping my eyes on the trail for the whole section to La Flégère, as I couldn’t stop gazing at the amazing views on the Mont Blanc.

When I reached the top of Le Brévent, my legs were already tired and the descent to Les Houches felt never-ending…

… one step at a time, I finally made it and, after a stop at the supermaket and a good dinner at a restaurant, I enjoyed a cozy night in a Chalet.
