Flateyri

After hiking for 3 days on the Hornstrandir Peninsula, we catched a West Tours Boat from Hornvík to Ísafjörður, where we picked up our car and continued our adventure on the road!

After reaching the harbor by boat, we quickly drove to Holt Inn, our accommodation for the night. We had a much needed warm shower, and headed to Flateyri for dinner.

We really liked this small town, which has a very interesting history about fishing and avalanches, shown on the boards along the streets.
