We catched our flight from Zurich (Switzerland) to Tenerife (South airport) and took a taxi to San Cristóbal de la Laguna, where we spent one night before starting our hike, at La Laguna Gran Hotel (a very nice hotel in the old town).

We resupplied at a small supermarket in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, where we bought snacks and water for the trail.

We then enjoyed a lovely dinner at a small restaurant, La Tasca de Los Patos, which serves amazing local dishes.
